The elevator arrived very quickly. Chu Yang flashed out, wanting to walk out, but the man reached out and stopped her, "Let's add each other on social media, okay? I didn't do anything wrong, right? You said there were security cameras yourself, would you dare expose anything if something happened?"
Chu Yang looked at him coldly, watching as the elevator door was about to close. Suddenly Chu Yang shouted, "Chi Yan!"
The man turned his head around. Chu Yang immediately gave him a kick to the groin. The man instantly kneeled down in pain. Chu Yang immediately ran out.
After running out, while the man was still in too much pain to react, the elevator door closed.
At this moment, the student opened the door, "Teacher, I knew you would definitely arrive soon. I didn't expect that as soon as I opened the door, you'd be here already."
Afraid that the man would come back, Chu Yang immediately pulled her inside and locked the door, "Don't go out."
The student looked at the teacher in confusion for a moment, "What happened?"
The female employer who was bringing over some fruit also came over, "What happened?"
Chu Yang recounted what the security guard had said this morning as well as what just happened, "Your husband isn't home, so you have to be extra careful about safety. If a stranger knocks on the door, don't open it, okay?"
"Teacher Chu, are you alright? Let me call security right away," the female employer said as she went to grab her phone. "This is truly frightening."
"Knock knock knock," the door suddenly sounded at this moment, startling all three women who instantly huddled together.
"Yang Yang, are you there?" It was Chi Yan's voice outside.
Chu Yang breathed a sigh of relief, "It's fine, that's my boyfriend."
Chu Yang opened the door, and saw a sweaty, worried Chi Yan outside. The security guard was behind him too. Seeing her, Chi Yan immediately pulled her into his arms, "I'm glad you're okay." His voice still trembled a little.
Chu Yang patted his back, "I'm fine."
The security guard also apologized, "I'm sorry, it was our oversight. We thought it was fine after checking his ID, didn't expect the person to be so bold. We'll be stricter about checking strangers from now on and won't let them in."
Chu Yang asked, "Where is that man?"
"We've caught him, but we can probably just give him a warning." Because there were no substantial actions, the man had just said he wanted to add her on social media. And he was the one who got kicked yet still wanted to sue. But after some threats from security, the man admitted wrongdoing.
Chu Yang understood that was all they could do. "Alright, thank you."
The security guard exhorted the female employer some more, then left because he was busy.
Because of what happened, the female employer said, "Teacher Chu, go back and rest first. You were frightened too. My child won't have class today." They were rather alarmed too.
"Okay. Then I'll head back first."
"Thanks for the trouble, Teacher Chu."
Then Chu Yang left with Chi Yan, vaguely hearing the student say, "Teacher Chu's boyfriend is so handsome."
Chi Yan held Chu Yang's hand tightly on the way back. His hands were sweaty, and Chu Yang could feel it. As soon as they got back, Chu Yang was pulled tightly into his embrace, "I was so scared." He liked her more than he had imagined.
Chu Yang was actually scared too, comforting him, "I'm fine. Don't be scared. And I'm a witch, I can protect myself, so don't worry."
"Mm." After holding her for a long time, Chi Yan finally let her go. His hands held her shoulders, his forehead against hers. The two were very close. Chi Yan suddenly said, "I want to kiss you."
Chu Yang closed her eyes, her trembling lashes hinting at the nervousness in her heart.
Then she felt her lips grow soft for a moment before it was gone.
A light kiss.
He kissed her and then held her again, "Next time I'll take you directly to the student's home, and pick you up when you're done."
"Okay." Chu Yang felt that was fine. The two buildings weren't that far apart anyway.
Chu Yang patted his back, and suddenly thought of something. "Your back is soaked. Go take a shower first, don't catch a cold."
"Mm." Chi Yan let her go. He had run too hurriedly earlier.
By the time Chi Yan came out of the shower, refreshed and dry, Chu Yang was already asleep on the couch. Chi Yan quickly picked her up and carried her back to the bedroom, tucking her in properly under a thin blanket.
Chu Yang hazily woke up for a bit, patted the space beside her, "Let's take a nap together." Then she fell back asleep.

In the end, he hesitantly lay down carefully beside his girlfriend after much deliberation, lying on his side watching her for a long time before finally closing his eyes and falling asleep as well.
After 3pm, nearing 4pm, Chu Yang woke up. She was currently lying with her back facing Chi Yan, nestled in his embrace, one of Chi Yan's arms around her waist.
Chu Yang removed his hand and sat up, feeling a little dizzy after sleeping too much. She looked at the time and saw it was still alright. She picked up her phone and lay back down again, started scrolling through social media to check for business inquiries, asking if Chu Luo had returned home since it was Saturday, and asking about things at home.
Chu Luo: The fruit at home just ripened. Dad said he's going to ship some over to you. It should arrive tomorrow.
Chu Yang: Okay. How are things at home?
Chu Luo: Still fine. Lately dad and mom go out every day to sell fruit.
Chu Yang: You haven't sent me your essay for this week yet.
Chu Luo: ...We have exams coming up.
Chu Yang: That's even more reason not to slack off.
Chu Luo: Alright, I'll send it to you tonight.
Chu Yang: You received the things I mailed back right?
Chu Luo: Ages ago. Mom and dad even said you're wasting money, but they seemed quite happy.
They chatted a little more, then Chu Yang told him to go write his essay.
Chi Yan beside her had also woken up. He immediately snuggled over, hugging her in his arms, his head buried in the crook of her neck. "Any plans tonight? Going to the library to study or something?"

Chu Yang: "Sure, where to?" It was Saturday after all.

"Okay."
Since they had decided to go out and have fun, Chi Yan got up quickly. "There's a hotel at the peak of North Looking Mountain. We can stay there if we come back late."
"Alright. Oh right, my family mailed me some fruit recently. I'll grab some for you when it arrives."
"Great."
Since they were hiking, Chu Yang also got ready quickly. Not knowing if they'd return to campus tonight, she also brought a set of clothes. Luckily she had often come to Chi Yan's place before so she had clothes here, no need to go back to campus for them.
She brought some necessities and other items, and put on light makeup. Then the two headed out.
Today, Chu Yang had tied up her hair, looking fresh and pretty. Chi Yan saw she had pierced ears and thought he'd buy her some earrings or ear hooks next time.
At 5pm sharp the two set off, arriving at North Looking Mountain after a little over 40 minutes. But they still had to hike up. They could also take the cable car up, but that wasn't as fun. The two decided to walk up. It would probably take about an hour.
