This Witch Transmigrated into the Romantic Novel’s Supporting Role

Chapter 44

The four-wheeled car quickly left the two-wheeled vehicle behind. It probably took the four-wheeled car about ten minutes to arrive, while it would take Chu Yang and the others about twenty minutes.

"I always feel like every time we meet, we end up going out to eat in the end," Chu Yang said.

Chi Yan laughed. "That's true."

And every time when Chi Yan treated them to a meal, he would take them to a fancy restaurant. Chu Yang was thinking that she should give them another prophecy.

"Let me give you a free prophecy?" Chu Yang suddenly said. "Although I don't have my crystal ball with me here, let me just take a quick look."

Chi Yan: "Sure."

Chu Yang then put her hand on Chi Yan's shoulder. Chi Yan suddenly stiffened and the car swerved slightly. Chu Yang got a fright and put both hands on his shoulders. "What's wrong?"

Chi Yan: "Nothing. I just suddenly saw a mouse..."

Chu Yang didn't think much of it. She closed her eyes and started releasing her psychic powers.

Just two seconds later, Chu Yang saw flames... She instantly opened her eyes and her grip on Chi Yan's shoulders tightened. Chi Yan could feel it and asked: "What's wrong?"

Chu Yang asked: "What's the name of the restaurant we're going to eat at later?"

Chi Yan: "Jingyuan Hotel."

Chu Yang's face darkened: "Let's hurry over there. I saw fire!"

Chi Yan instantly stepped on the gas. "Fire? A fire?"

Chu Yang was very certain: "Yes. So let's hurry. I'm afraid Jin Yang and the others are already there."

"Okay."

Chu Yang took out her phone and called Jin Yang on WeChat. Jin Yang and the others had just arrived at the hotel and were getting out of the car to go into the hotel.

"Hello?" Jin Yang wondered why Chu Yang was calling her. Did something happen to their car?

"Don't go in," Chu Yang said seriously.

Jin Yang saw that Wei Feng and Yuan Zhi had already gone inside. She hurried to catch up to them. "What's going on? Don't go in? You mean don't go into the hotel?" Jin Yang hurriedly pulled Wei Feng's hand. "Chu Yang said we shouldn't go in."

Chu Yang: "Don't go in. There will be a fire. Just wait outside the entrance for now..."

"Ah!" Jin Yang quickly relayed Chu Yang's words to Wei Feng.

Wei Feng immediately called for everyone to stop. "Let's go back out for now. We'll wait outside for Brother Yan."

A few who didn't know about Chu Yang's abilities were puzzled. "Why? Can't we go in and order first? I'm starving..." They were all rubbing their stomachs.

"Yeah, my stomach is growling already. Brother Yan will be here very soon."

"Go back outside first," Yuan Zhi said firmly.

With Yuan Zhi speaking, no one objected anymore. They curiously filed back out of the hotel entrance.

Yuan Zhi asked Jin Yang, "Boss Chu... did Miss Chu say anything else?"

Jin Yang shook her head. "Just to wait outside the entrance for them."

"Alright, let's wait here. They should arrive in about five minutes," Yuan Zhi checked his watch and then sat inside the car to wait.

The others also sat in the cars or squatted on the ground playing on their phones.

Five minutes later, they saw the little lamb (Chi Yan's car) arrive. As soon as the car stopped, everyone crowded around excitedly. "You've arrived!"

Chu Yang took off her helmet, and Chi Yan helped to hold it. Chu Yang tidied her hair and looked at everyone: "You didn't go in right?"

Yuan Zhi walked over from the car. "No, we didn't."

Chu Yang breathed a sigh of relief. "Good." She then looked at the hotel in front of them - a six-story building, with dining areas on the first two floors and guest rooms above.

"You'll probably have to find another place to eat tonight. Should we go now or wait a bit?" Chu Yang asked Chi Yan.

The puzzled Wu Huarong asked: "Wha...What's going on? Why do we need to change locations?"

Wei Feng put an arm around him. "Don't ask for now. Listen to Miss Chu first, I'll explain to you later." He then looked to Chi Yan, "Brother Yan, what do you think?"

Chi Yan glanced at Chu Yang. "Let's wait for a bit."

Chu Yang didn't object: "Okay, I'll go sit in the car first then."

Wei Feng hurriedly opened the car door. "Miss Chu, have a seat. I'll turn on the AC for you."

Chu Yang got into the passenger seat, while Chi Yan went to the driver's seat. The rest either sat in the cars or squatted on the ground.

Ten minutes went by quickly. Chu Yang said to Jin Yang: "Call 119."

"Got it." Jin Yang dialed 119 directly. "Hello? Mr. Firefighter? I'm outside Jingyuan Hotel near the east gate of B University. I see Jingyuan Hotel is on fire. Yes, that's right. Okay, thanks!"

Right after Jin Yang finished speaking, they saw smoke rising from the second floor of the hotel. Chu Yang added: "Yell for people to come out, see if there's a fire alarm at the entrance."

Everyone sprang into action. Wei Feng went inside and told the front desk: "There's a fire upstairs!" Then he shouted loudly: "Fire! Get out quick!"

The front desk staff panicked, seemingly hesitant at first. Then someone from the second floor came running down shouting "Fire!"

The front desk immediately sounded the fire alarm. A loud alarm instantly rang through the entire hotel. Chu Yang and the others couldn't see inside from where they were, but the fire on the second floor suddenly grew bigger, with thick smoke billowing out.

Many people came rushing out, but this was a six-story hotel, and the fire started on the second floor.

People from surrounding shops also came out. Some were making calls, others came out with fire extinguishers, and some turned on water pipes to prepare to fight the blaze. Chi Yan and Wei Feng also went to help.

Five minutes later, the fire brigade arrived. After that, it was no longer any of Chu Yang and their business.

"It's got nothing to do with us now. Let's go to Ping'an Hotel. I've had them prepare everything," Chi Yan said.

No one disagreed.

Afraid that Chu Yang would catch a cold, this time she remained sitting in the car on the way to Ping'an Hotel. As for the little lamb, Wei Feng and Yuan Zhi took it. While leaving, Chu Yang suddenly spotted a familiar couple in the rearview mirror - the male and female leads were stumbling out looking haggard, wearing only bathrobes which had been blackened.

Ping'an Hotel was five kilometers away. They soon arrived. Back at Jingyuan Hotel, after the fire was extinguished, the boss still wanted to thank the young men who helped initially, only to realize they had vanished without a trace.

During dinner, Wu Huarong sidled up to Wei Feng and whispered: "How did you guys know there was going to be a fire?"

Wei Feng shushed him and showed a Weibo account, giving him a thumbs up sign.

Wu Huarong saw that the account name was "Prophet Girl Wizard". He instantly covered his mouth in silent excitement - Really?

Wei Feng gave double thumbs up. Wu Huarong looked at Chu Yang with newfound admiration in his gaze.

He quickly took out his phone to follow her account, giving an OK sign. Then he turned around in a circle excitedly - Chu Yang suddenly gained a few more fans.
