Chu Yang smiled till her face almost stiffened. Why was she so busy even though it was Chi Yan's graduation ceremony?
Once everything almost settled down, Chi Yan glanced at his watch, "Yang Yang, take a rest here, I'll be back shortly."
Chu Yang massaged her face, "Mm, go ahead."
Then, Chi Yan ran off, and Chu Yang was oblivious to the fact that Wei Feng and the others had also scurried off somewhere.
Chu Yang was choosing which photos to post on her social media as she waved through her smartphone. All of them seemed decent and might not fit into one post--maybe she'd need two.
"Yang Yang, bad news, something happened to the little BOSS," Jin Yang gasped for air as she sprinted towards Chu Yang. She had picked up the habit of calling Chi Yan 'little BOSS' during her internship at Chi Corporation and never dropped it.
Hearing that something had happened to Chi Yan, Chu Yang immediately followed Jin Yang without giving it a second thought. But if she had calmed down, she would have wondered how could something happen to Chi Yan at the school?
However, when she arrived at a different location with Jin Yang, she was stunned to see the numerous flowers on the ground.
There were pots of flowers everywhere with a pathway leading towards the middle. There, Chi Yan along with their friends Cai Cai, Qian Xin, Wei Feng, Zheng Qing, and even his parents were all there laughing and looking at her.
At that moment Chi Yan wasn't in his graduation outfit but in a tailor-made suit, holding a bouquet of roses and a box.
Behind them was a projector screen displaying a slideshow of photos of Chu Yan and Chi Yang.
Chu Yang halted as she figured out what was going on. Her heart filled with excitement and anticipation, yet a bit of confusion and bewilderment.
Mustering up her courage, Chu Yang walked down the petal-lined path to Chi Yan.
Chi Yan was smiling at her affectionately the whole time. As she approached, he kneeled down, "Yang Yang, will you marry me?" He then opened the box revealing a ring with a huge diamond.
The surrounding bystanders were all stunned.
"Wow!"
"Oh my goodness!"
"How romantic!"
People who heard about the proposal came flocking over, and soon a crowd formed around them.
Tears welled up in Chu Yang's eyes unexpectedly as she nodded her head in response, much to the delighted anticipation of Chi Yan and everyone else.
Chi Yan, shaking yet unable to control his emotions, saw her acceptance. His eyes reddening, he finally slid the ring on her finger. Amidst the cheering crowd, they shared a kiss.
After, Chi Yan took Chu Yang's hand and they left the scene.
As for the flowers, they were donated to the school.
The underclassmen who initially came to see Chi Yan and take photos were shocked to witness a wedding proposal from the couple they came to see. They left shortly after.
Many were clutching their faces, "Ahhh, so romantic!"
"This has become the TOP 1 news in the school."
"It's been a while since Chi Yan made an appearance, and when he does, it's for a major event."
"Sob, I witnessed their love journey."
"My fave couple is getting married! Ahhh, I'm so excited!"

So where was Chi Yan planning to take Chu Yang? Of course, he was taking her home, back to Imperial Prosperity.
Upon their arrival, Chu Yang was immediately taken by Chi Yan into the bedroom... "My wife, soon you will be my wife," he declared.
"I'm so happy, my future wife."
"Will you call me 'husband', just once?"
Chu Yang felt a lit bit embarrassed, however, under Chi Yan's hopeful gaze, she softly muttered, "Husband?"
Then, Chu Yang felt the grip around her waist tighten, and she felt as though she was swept by a wave into the deep sea, losing all sense of direction.
After a while... Chu Yang asked, nestled in Chi Yan's arms, "I was wondering why you've been acting strangely, going out with your friends without me and, on top of that, returning smelling of flowers all over your body. Did you go flower shopping?"
"Yes. I got exactly 999 fresh flowers." He admitted, sharing that he moved part of them personally, with the remaining number moved with Wei Feng's assistance.
"What made you... do such a thing at this point?"
Chi Yan nibbled on her cheek, unable to get enough of her, "I thought by now we're supposed to be married after we graduate, as we agreed, remember?"
Chu Yang reluctantly admitted, " I casually agreed, not thinking you were serious about it, especially about proposing at our graduation."
Chi Yan leaned closer, "But you did promise me, so when are we going to get our marriage certificate?"
Chu Yang opened her eyes to look at him, then closed them again, "My parents still don't know."
Chi Yan confidently assured her, "They already know."
She responds, puzzled, "Huh?"
Chi Yan explained, "Last week I told them about my plan to propose this week and wanted them to stay to witness it, but your mother said that they had to return home. Hence, they asked me to live-stream it to them. So, they do indeed know."
Chu Yang was rather taken aback by the revelation... So, she was the only one who didn't know?
Actually, there was one more person who was clueless - Chu Luo, who was still at school.
"I've left my household registration book at home. We will need to fetch it, let's wait until graduation in June."
"Alright, my parents and I will come to your home after my graduation in June, and we can discuss the details regarding our wedding."

In June, after receiving their graduation certificates, Chi Yan immediately whisked away Chu Yang, along with his parents, ensuring all gifts were prepared, they headed off in the direction of Chu Yang's home.
Having just finished his high school exams, Chu Luo thought he had plenty of time, maybe he should get a summer job? However, just a few days after he returned home, he heard from his parents that Chi Yan had successfully proposed marriage, his parents had already rushed over to discuss the wedding arrangements with Chu Luo's parents for Chi Yan and Chu Yang.
