The Villain’s Little Sister is Spoiled by the Male Lead

Chapter 94

After Song Luokui left the International Friendship Hotel, she immediately had Uncle An take her back to the university. It should take her about an hour to get back, and she should still make it in time.

The reason she didn't go directly to the Chunyu Building is mainly because it's on the other side, which is further away. Besides, Chi Yu had messaged her at 4 o'clock saying he had arrived at the university, but told her not to hurry, as he had some matters to attend to, and they could meet up at 5 o'clock.

She thought it would be better to go to the university first and meet up with Chi Yu. As she got in the car, Song Luokui first sent a message to Chi Yu, "I had some matters to attend to, so I might be a little late. I'll probably get to the university around 5:30."

Chi Yu, who had been waiting without a reply, was no longer worried after receiving her message. "No problem, take your time. I'll wait for you."

"Okay."

When they arrived at the university, after Uncle An left, Song Luokui rushed to where Chi Yu was waiting. By the time she got in the car, it was almost 6 o'clock.

"Sorry, I'm late."

Chi Yu looked at her. "It's okay, you're here now. Shall we go to the Chunyu Building?"

"Okay."

About half an hour later, they arrived at the Chunyu Building. As they waited for the food to arrive, Song Luokui took out a small box and handed it to Chi Yu. "This is an apology gift."

Chi Yu accepted it. "Apology gift? What for?"

Song Luokui felt a bit embarrassed. "For the misunderstanding earlier. Open it and see."

Chi Yu, though saying the misunderstanding was no problem, opened the gift excitedly. Inside was a stylish men's lapel pin.

"I really like it. Can you help me put it on?" Chi Yu asked with a smile, looking at Song Luokui.

"Sure." Song Luokui took the pin from the box and, sitting next to Chi Yu, leaned in to pin it on his lapel.

Chi Yu kept his head down, able to smell the fragrance of her hair.

"There, all done." Song Luokui sat up straight, looking at him. "How does it look?"

Chi Yu glanced at it. "It looks good."

Song Luokui: "I think so too."

She sat back across from Chi Yu, and the food arrived just then.

As they ate, Chi Yu told her some interesting stories about his business trip. "The beaches in Banras are beautiful, worth a visit. Maybe in the future..."

Song Luokui: "Hmm?"

Chi Yu: "Maybe in the future, I can take you there, if you'd like?"

Song Luokui paused for a moment, then nodded. "Okay."

Chi Yu immediately smiled.

After finishing their meal, Chi Yu reached out his hand to Song Luokui. She looked up at him, then at his palm - his hand was large, and she had held it before, it was warm.

Song Luokui placed her hand in his, and Chi Yu grasped it firmly, his tone joyful. "I'll take you somewhere."

He led her to a slightly secluded area, not too remote, but the surrounding houses were quite far apart, and there were few people on the road.

The car stopped at the entrance of a traditional courtyard house. There were two red lanterns hanging at the entrance, and the ancient-style architecture made Song Luokui think of a horror movie setting.

Song Luokui's voice lowered. "What are we doing here?"

Chi Yu suddenly said to her, "Could you please cover your eyes for a moment?"

Song Luokui: ? Does this mean they're entering some kind of secret place where she needs to have her eyes covered to go in? Song Luokui's mind was now weaving a little story.

Chi Yu used a band to blindfold her eyes, then took her hand. "We're going in, there are some steps, be careful..."

As they went through the door, Song Luokui heard the creaking sound of the door closing, followed by the sound of it being locked.

Song Luokui: ... This is getting more and more ominous.

What she didn't know was that behind her, as they entered, two people had immediately closed the door, and in front of her, Ji Xiao was holding a camera, filming this moment. Beneath her feet was a red carpet, with the most fresh and beautiful roses from overseas lining the sides.

As they entered, all the surrounding lights turned on, illuminating the house as bright as day. Lanterns were also hanging from the trees.

They continued walking, then Chi Yu finally told her to stop. Song Luokui: "What are you doing?"

Chi Yu: "Just a moment."

He suddenly let go of Song Luokui's hand, and Zhou Wenqin immediately handed him a bouquet of flowers, while the others took their positions.

Finally, Chi Yu said, "Song Luokui, you can open your eyes now."

Song Luokui pulled off the blindfold. Her eyes took a moment to adjust to the brightness. She shielded them with her hand, and then saw Chi Yu kneeling before her, holding the bouquet.

Behind him, on the wall, were the words "Song Luokui, I like you," surrounded by fresh flowers and prayers.

Song Luokui looked at Chi Yu, her heart racing. She already knew what he was about to do.

Chi Yu offered her the bouquet. "Song Luokui, I like you. Will you be my girlfriend?"

Song Luokui took a step back, and Chi Yu's face grew tense. The people watching also held their breath, anxious.

But then Song Luokui reached out and took the bouquet. "I accept."

"Yes!" The hidden observers let out a relieved sigh.

Chi Yu beamed with happiness as he stood up and took out a box, opening it to reveal a necklace. "This is a gift for you. Can I put it on you?"

Song Luokui nodded. "Okay."

Chi Yu, still a bit nervous, put the necklace on her. Then he tightly embraced her, and Song Luokui wrapped one arm around him.

Suddenly, fireworks burst forth, similar to the ones Chi Yu had set off for her before.

The two looked up at the fireworks, and Song Luokui smiled happily. "Did you prepare this?"

Chi Yu: "Yes."

Song Luokui: "I thought it was like a horror movie when I was standing at the door, and when I heard the door closing, it made me think of the time I went to a haunted house... I had no idea you were going to confess!"

Chi Yu: ... Everyone agreed the lanterns were festive, and there were many lanterns lining the hallway, all red.

Song Luokui: "But now it doesn't seem scary at all."

The fireworks ended, and Li Yanbei gave a thumbs up, then the group quietly left.

As Song Luokui walked to the exit, she saw the entire path was lined with roses. To be honest, she was quite touched. She looked up at Chi Yu, "I really liked the ceremony tonight."

Chi Yu kept holding her hand, and hearing her say that made him very happy. He looked down at her, and suddenly cupped her face, leaning in...

But Song Luokui quickly covered his mouth with her hand. "Wait, even though I've accepted you, I have a small request."

Chi Yu: ?

Song Luokui: "Come, let's go to the living room and talk."

She led Chi Yu to the living room, placing the flowers aside. She poured hot tea for both of them, taking a sip before looking at Chi Yu. She sighed. "You know, I have an unavoidable predicament."

Chi Yu: ?
