The Villain’s Little Sister is Spoiled by the Male Lead

Chapter 18

Lin Cheng was talking to two people, while Song Luokui just stood behind without saying anything. Wang Sisi and the others next to her were a little excited, but they didn't come forward either. They had been at Peking University for over a month now, and they knew about some of the rumors circulating around campus.

They didn't expect to actually see the person from the rumors!

The legendary Senior Chi Yu was as impressive as the rumors suggested. They only dared to glance at him briefly without staring for long. They just knew he had a noble temperament and heavenly good looks, with an air of detachment surrounding him that made him difficult to look at directly.

They also knew of Senior Chen Nan. He was also quite handsome, but not as dazzling as Senior Chi Yu when standing next to him.

Lin Cheng waited for the two people to leave before sending Wang Sisi and the others back. Unexpectedly, the usually unapproachable Chi Yu suddenly looked towards the people behind him and asked, "Going home?"

Lin Cheng: ?

Lin Cheng raised his head in surprise. He realized Chi Yu was looking at someone behind him. His mind jolted alert, and he looked towards Song Luokui next to Wang Sisi.

Song Luokui had not spoken this whole time. She also didn't expect Chi Yu to ask her a question. That sentence was clearly directed at her, since his gaze was fixed on her.

As soon as Chi Yu spoke, Chen Nan also looked over. He raised an eyebrow. "Oh my, little sister Song is here too." Although he didn't get along well with Song Luosheng, he had to admit that the Song family had good genes. His little sister Song Luokui had grown into a real beauty. If she wasn't in the institute but outside instead, she probably would have been taken advantage of already.

Thinking of all the girls in the institute, this girl from the Song family was undoubtedly the best.

Song Luokui nodded lightly at them. "Yes." Then she answered Chi Yu's question, "I'm not going home, going back to school."

Chi Yu: "I'll have someone take you back."

Song Luokui immediately shook her head. "No need, Senior Lin Cheng will take us back."

Lin Cheng immediately said, "Haha, don't worry seniors, I'll send them all back safely."

Chi Yu didn't insist. He murmured in agreement, then left with Chen Nan.

Lin Cheng immediately went to get his car to send the four people back to school. The car ride was silent. Lin Cheng kept looking at the rearview mirror like he wanted to say something, and exchanged meaningful looks with his girlfriend.

Wang Sisi understood his intention. She coughed and asked, "Luokui, you...know Senior Chi Yu and the others?"

Song Luokui: "...We're acquainted, but not very familiar." They were indeed not very familiar, and what's more, they were considered "enemies" — after all, the younger sister of the villain should be a villain as well.

Although she had exchanged a few civil words with Chi Yu before, if in the future her brother Song Luosheng really ended up in a life-and-death struggle with Chi Yu, then of course she would stand by her brother's side. Of course, she would try her best to prevent that kind of situation from happening.

Currently, although Song Luosheng and Chi Yu disliked each other to some extent, the main issue was still that Song Luosheng wanted to surpass Chi Yu. Their relationship was one of rivalry, not yet at the stage of mortal enemies. Things were still quite harmonious between their families. In the eyes of the older generation, the poor relations between the two young men was seen as just harmless child's play.

Yes, although both were already in their fourth year of university, in the eyes of the older generation they were still naughty youngsters. Their usual disagreements were regarded as childish squabbles. They would come to understand right and wrong when they grew up a bit more.

Seeing that Song Luokui didn't want to say more, Wang Sisi didn't ask further either. They soon arrived at the female dorms. Song Luokui, Su Yiyuan, and Zhang Jingfeng got out of the car first, leaving Wang Sisi alone to bid Lin Cheng goodbye.

After the others left, Lin Cheng instructed his girlfriend, "Be a little nicer to your roommate from now on. Oh, no need for that actually, just act normal. The main thing is not to offend her."

Wang Sisi asked, "Is Senior Chi Yu really amazing?" This was also the first time she had seen her boyfriend act so subservient.

Lin Cheng: "I told you before that my family is just one of the lower levels. There are still higher levels above us. As for Senior Chi Yu and the others, they are the highest level. Based on what I saw, it looks like your roommate knows them too."

Wang Sisi felt somewhat relieved that she hadn't done anything bad to Song Luokui previously. "I understand. I'll get along well with her."

Lin Cheng: "You don't need to deliberately fawn over such people either. That could backfire. Just act normal."

"Okay, got it."

"Alright, go on up first. Rest well. I'll bring you breakfast tomorrow."

"Okay."

The two kissed goodbye. Then Wang Sisi returned to the dorm.

This little incident soon blew over. In the dorm, everyone just knew Song Luokui had an extraordinary family background, but no one probed further. Their attitude towards her was still perfectly fine as usual.

As before, Song Luokui remained gentle and soft-spoken. It seemed she just went home more often now. That was because the weather had turned cold, and she was afraid of the cold, so she went home to keep warm. After all, she was more comfortable at home.

This year, it seemed to start snowing unusually early. When Song Luokui got up early in the morning, the area outside was already covered in snow. On the TV downstairs, they were reporting that Beijing would experience heavy snow today, and reminding everyone to take safety precautions.

Song Luokui put on a thick down jacket and a hat. Her little face was buried in a scarf, while her hands were tucked into her pockets. She stood not far from the institute's entrance waiting for the bus.

A car suddenly stopped in front of her. The window rolled down to reveal Chi Yu's face as he turned to look at her. "Get in the car. I'll take you to school."

Song Luokui waved her hands. "We're not going the same way. You should go about your business." She knew his company was in the opposite direction.

Chi Yu said, "I'm going to the school today too."

Song Luokui: "Oh." After hesitating for a moment, she obediently got into the car. "Thanks."

Once she was in the car, warm air blasted her. Song Luokui instantly felt much more comfortable. She adjusted her scarf, revealing her little face, not knowing how Chi Yu had recognized her when she was bundled up so thickly.

The drive passed in silence. They soon arrived at the school. Remembering the rumors about Chi Yu, Song Luokui wanted him to drop her off not too close to the school gates. But Chi Yu ignored that, directly sending her to the gates of the Literature Department.

Song Luokui quickly got out of the car. "Thanks." Then she hurried into the department building, afraid someone might see her.

Chi Yu also drove off very soon after. Actually he didn't have any business at the school today.

Song Luokui thought the semester would continue to pass by uneventfully like this. But that night, she had a class that ended at 8:30pm. Since the next day was weekend, she planned to just go home directly.

When she reached the school gates and was about to hail a cab, her phone suddenly rang nonstop. Song Luokui looked and saw it was Wang Sisi. "Hello?"

On the other end, Wang Sisi was crying. "Luokui? Luokui, please save Lin Cheng! I really don't know what to do! Please, I'm begging you, save Lin Cheng!"

Song Luokui immediately tried to calm her down. "What happened? Where are you? Don't panic, tell me what's going on first. I'm coming over right now, don't be scared."

Wang Sisi: "I'm at the Red Leaf Bar... Ah! Don't...!" Suddenly there were sounds of commotion from Wang Sisi's side. The call cut off. When Song Luokui called back, no one picked up.

Song Luokui immediately caught a cab to the Red Leaf Bar. The Red Leaf Bar wasn't far from Peking University, just about a 10-minute ride. Although Song Luokui went over by herself first, she also gave Song Luosheng a call. He didn't pick up, so she sent him a message and also called Zhou Yuan.

"My friend might be in trouble at the Red Leaf Bar. I'm going over now. Call my brother to come if he's free."

Zhou Yuan: "Your brother is still in a meeting. I'll let him know later. I've asked some other people to head over first."

"Please hurry, it's an emergency."

"Got it."
