Zhou Zhou did not expect this change, he was stunned for tens of seconds.
[expletives expressing frustration]
The warm breath near his ear was hard to dissipate for a while, his mind was full of the beautiful face of the transfer student, as well as her posture when she approached, tempting without realizing it.....
"Damn!" Zhou Zhou growled to interrupt his own imagination, his ears reddening from embarrassment or anger.
Yan Xi finished speaking, and immediately took two steps back to keep a safe distance.
[Mocking Zhou Zhou] Pandora seized every opportunity to mock.
[I didn't want to risk finding out if he would react badly, since I'm rather precious.]
"A transfer student huh? Quite arrogant aren't you?" Zhou Zhou sized her up properly for the first time, his tone heavy with anger, staring at Yan Xi as if he wanted to fight.
"Not at all."
Yan Xi flatly stated while smiling brightly and arrogantly at Zhou Zhou. One hand leaning against the door, blocking the entrance. Seductive and provocative.
Zhou Zhou doesn't usually hit girls, but for some reason seeing Yan Xi's arrogant posture today makes him especially want to smash that beautiful yet arrogant face, anticipating her pleading, tearful expression.
"Don't assume I won't hit a girl." Zhou Zhou kicked over a nearby small stool belonging to Peng Haiyang. Peng Haiyang had a habit of sitting in the doorway waving an English book to fan himself while waiting to berate late students. Hence his other well-known nickname “Guardian of the Gate”.
[He's so fierce, I'm scared...]
[......]
Yan Xi's upturned eyebrows suddenly drooped, her eyes instantly brimming with water, swaying unsteadily as if frightened.
Giving up already?!
Zhou Zhou suddenly heard something tearing through the air, accompanied by a familiar trajectory.
"Zhou Zhou! Late again?! Looking to be punished?! And bullying the new student!"
Focusing his eyes, the thing flung at him was a colorful slipper!
Seeing the familiar slippers, Zhou Zhou thought: Crap, it's the Guardian of the Gate!
Peng Haiyang had unexpectedly returned, grabbing the slippers he usually wore under his pants and flung them in a parabolic motion. Not yet appeased, he charged over looking extremely like "a wife catching her husband cheating".
"Teacher.....Zhou didn't mean it, he definitely didn't mean to kick your little stool..." Yan Xi hesitated, tears brimming her eyes.
Peng Haiyang was further incensed hearing this. Ha! My little stool was actually kicked by that Zhou!
Yan Xi turned slightly, hiding her expression from the class while smiling innocently yet maliciously at Zhou Zhou. She tilted her head slightly, tears in her eyes, mouthed "Sorry".
Her entire temperament was like the bewitching Medusa from Greek mythology. Though tearful, her eyes were full of manipulation, extremely venomous yet enchanting.
With Zhou Zhou's tall stature completely blocking Yan Xi's expression from Peng Haiyang's line of sight.
Extremely petty!
"Damn, don't leave after school!" Zhou Zhou glared fiercely at Yan Xi, then shoved open the nearby window. Stepping onto the windowsill with one foot, while stepping onto the desk of some poor classmate reciting English vocabulary with the other. He nimbly leapt right into the classroom.
His leap was skilful, but shocked that poor classmate speechless.
Seeing this, Peng Haiyang nearly fainted from rage. Forgetting to chase Zhou Zhou, he angrily phoned someone with a grief-stricken tone: "Old Zhou! I give up on that grandson of yours, come get him!"
After chatting briefly on the phone, Peng Haiyang entered the classroom to battle Zhou Zhou. Ultimately Zhou Zhou was threatened by his grandfather to "Get punished or come home for a beating", and had no choice but to stand outside the classroom as punishment.
Tattling early is wise, I have realized, Master!
However dashing leaping through the window, now standing outside as punishment felt utterly shameless.
Zhou Zhou emerged full of grimness, standing at the doorway staring fixedly at Yan Xi's every move, eyes fierce.
He grinned maliciously at Yan Xi, seemingly telling her that her good days were over.
[Worrisome, I'm suddenly very worried about you.] Pandora said strangely.
[No need to worry, he won't get the chance.] Yan Xi smiled, meeting Zhou Zhou's oppressive gaze.

"Excuse me, I'm looking for Ji Yao." Yan Xi stood at the entrance of Class 2, asking a bespectacled male student guarding the door.
"Oh, sure...." Bespectacled girl turned and called into the classroom: "Yao Jie, someone's looking for you!"
"Oh my gosh, you're that new transfer student Yan Xi?!" The bespectacled girl exclaimed, having noticed Yan Xi's face.
"Yan Xi?"
"The transfer student?"
"Where is she?!"
Hearing Yan Xi's name, several male and female students in the corridor turned to look, with some heads poking out from Class 2's windows upon hearing she was here.
With striking eyebrows and fair unblemished skin, she had an aloof bearing when not smiling. One glance revealed her to be a rich, noble flower.
Seeing Yan Xi's face clearly, some sucked in cold breaths, speculating about why she had come.
Yan Xi just smiled mysteriously, her dazzling eyebrows impacting the bespectacled girl's vision.
[There she is, you see see!] Pandora shouted loudly in Yan Xi's mind.
[Pandora, your English is very pretentious.] Having seen her photo on the card, Yan Xi confirmed the girl's identity at first glance.
But formalities had to be observed.
Yan Xi asked: "You are Ji Yao?"
"Yes, Yan Xi." Ji Yao bounced out from Class 2, attracting everyone's attention again.
Ji Yao had chestnut colored hair tied up, with stray strands falling at both sides, brimming with youthful spirit. Her bright, clean eyes and sweet smile were incredibly likeable. Even her running exuded a faint fragrance of sweet olive.
[Yao Jie's here, come look!] Pandora shouted loudly in Yan Xi's mind again.
[Pandora, your English is too fake.] Seeing her at first glance, Yan Xi confirmed it was the girl in the picture.
But formalities had to be observed.
"Did you need me for something?" Ji Yao looked slightly puzzled about why Yan Xi sought her.
Before Yan Xi could reply, a short-haired girl with tattoos on her arm suddenly rushed out and nudged Ji Yao, whispering something to her while glaring fiercely at Yan Xi - clearly trouble.
[Pandora, her tattoo is quite nice.]
"Ah Le, Yan Xi just transferred, she definitely isn't that kind of person. Take back your glare and return to class!" Ji Yao said, seeming angry.
Seeing Ji Yao's anger, short-hair reluctantly glanced warningly at Yan Xi before heading back.
"Sorry about that, Ah Le didn't mean it." Ji Yao bowed apologetically to Yan Xi.
The crowd was now looking askance at Yan Xi.
[You seem rather skilled at drawing aggro without doing anything.] Pandora mocked.
[You're not so bad yourself.]
"This is yours." Yan Xi lightly flicked Ji Yao's card before her eyes, stating why she had come.
Ji Yao's expression seemed to freeze, but she quickly adjusted it. "My card?"
"Yes, yours." Yan Xi handed the card to Ji Yao, giving her a friendly smile.
"Yesterday it fell at....."
"Thank you! Yan Xi, I had been looking for it for a long time, I was even planning to go get a replacement," Ji Yao grabbed her student ID card, and then suddenly grabbed Yan Xi's hand, and proposed: "Yan Xi, as a token of thanks, let me treat you to some yogurt after school! I know of a store that has really delicious yogurt, don't refuse me, okay?"
Ji Yao smiled sweetly, her voice soft and sweet, eyes shining bright.
Interesting, so it's after school too? Yan Xi looked at the fair fingers resting on her wrist.
"Sure," Yan Xi chuckled lightly.
