Vampire Territory.
On the plane, Daniel leaned against the window, stretching his neck to try and see what lay below, and muttered:
"So this is the Vampire Territory, huh? Nothing too special about it."
Except for being a bit more spacious, advanced, and prettier, it didn't seem all that outstanding.
Not much better than the Werewolf Clan's Primitive Forest.
Chloe rolled her eyes at him:
"If you say there's nothing special, then there's nothing special."
After all, Daniel didn't live here permanently. Let him look and enjoy the novelty.
Besides, the plane was so high up from the ground, what could he possibly see clearly?
He really did just say whatever came to mind.
Having had enough, Daniel left the window and sidled up to Chloe, asking:
"Hey, we're going to your place to hang out, does your dad know?"
Chloe chuckled, "What would you do if I said he doesn't?"
Daniel thought for a moment: "Then I'd jump off the plane."
"Go ahead and jump," Chloe said calmly. "I didn't tell him."
Daniel: "..."
Of course, he wasn't actually going to jump from here. He was still young, cherishing his life.
"Stop joking around, did you really tell him or not?"
At this, the others also looked over.
Chloe tossed the solved Rubik's cube in her hand up and down, lazily saying, "Relax, I told him ages ago. He's already agreed."
Agreeing with a sullen face and begrudging compromise was still agreement.
Tsk, feudal patriarch Xavier.
As they spoke, the plane drew closer to the Vampire nobility's airport.
The plane gradually descended, finally docking inside the airport.
The cabin door opened, and the younglings rushed out in a frenzy.
Chloe waited for them all to disembark before leading the group off the plane.
Inside the airport, vampire parents and younglings were embracing excitedly everywhere.
As soon as Chloe stepped off, she spotted a huge flashing LED sign in the crowd.
It spelled out "Chloe" in glowing light bulbs.
Because the person holding the sign was rather tall, this unconventional sign was very conspicuous, almost like a crane among chickens.
Not just Chloe, but Daniel and the others saw it too.
Qin Huaibei's voice held a hint of amusement: "Hey, isn't that here to pick you up?"
Looking at that gaudy, pink flashing sign, Chloe: "..."
She calmly said, "You're mistaken, it's not here for me."
With that, she turned and walked away.
Even a toddler could guess who came up with this embarrassing stunt.
She'd have to be out of her mind to play along with that idiot's performance.
Unfortunately, while Chloe refused to approach, the idiot holding the sign was more than happy to come to her.
"Little Miss!"
A familiar call came from behind. Chloe quickened her pace, leading the group forward.
But after just a few steps, her collar was grabbed by a pair of large hands.
This posture was no different from picking up a baby chick.
Chloe: "..."
She strained her face, turned her head, and opened her mouth, threatening with her fangs:
"Put me down!"
Kewen tilted his head, sporting sunglasses on the bridge of his nose and a lollipop in his mouth:
"No can do. Little Miss clearly saw me, so why did you run so fast?"
With one hand holding Chloe and the other holding the pink flashing sign.
Chloe scoffed: "You're asking me?"
"Shouldn't I ask Little Miss?" Saying this, Kewen lowered his gaze, extended a middle finger from the hand holding the flashing sign, pushed his sunglasses up to his forehead, looked at the other younglings below, and said with sudden realization, "Oh, these must be your friends, right?"
He turned Chloe left and right in his grip, exclaiming with delight:
"All familiar faces!"
Kewen accurately called out the names of Daniel, Qin Huaibei, and Katherine:
"Long time no see, my dear little ones."
His voice was particularly sweet, addressing each one as 'dear' in an attempt to get chummy.
Meanwhile, Chloe was trying hard to pry Kewen's fingers open. Finding it impossible, she simply bit his hand.
"Ah!!!"
Kewen yelped in pain, immediately letting go.
He grabbed his hand and blew on it, complaining: "Little Miss bites hard."
Chloe widened her eyes, protesting: "I didn't even use any force!"
She truly hadn't used force; at most, her fangs had barely touched Kewen's hand before he hastily let her go.
She wouldn't take the blame for this.
Kewen's reaction was purely a conditioned reflex; after all, besides Xavier, he was the one who got bitten the most in the past.
He shook his wrist with lingering fear:
"Come on, get in the car with me."
With that, he led the younglings towards the airport exit.
Halfway there, Chloe suddenly remembered something and asked warily:
"You didn't come to pick us up on a motorcycle, did you?"
Kewen: "Yeah, why? Is there a problem?"
Chloe looked wooden: "A motorcycle can't seat six people."
"Who said I only brought one motorcycle?"
Kewen ruffled her hair and pushed her forward again.
Outside the airport, a grand fleet of black motorcycles was parked. The riders were uniformly dressed, wearing helmets, with long legs propped on the ground, looking both dashing and cool.
Kewen boasted proudly: "See? I came well-prepared, didn't I?"
Chloe: "...If you weren't coming alone to pick me up, you could've just had the others bring sports cars."
As her words fell, Kewen blinked: "Seems like you're right."
"But what can we do? We've already come on motorcycles."
Kewen grinned mischievously: "Since it's already like this..."
He scooped up Chloe and placed her on his backseat: "You'll just have to put up with it for a bit, Little Miss."
The motorcycles raced like lightning, speeding towards the Vampire Manor.
All those riding with Kewen were thrill-seekers, driving their bikes at breakneck speeds.
Daniel was so scared that his wolf ears popped out.
By the time they reached the Vampire Manor, Daniel's legs were trembling. When he took off his helmet, he was shaking, and his wolf ears suddenly popped out.
Chloe saw them as she dismounted and casually tugged on his ears, praising:
"Nice texture."
Caught off guard, Daniel widened his eyes: "You're molesting me?!"
As soon as he spoke, Qin Huaibei came over and tugged too.
Then Anderson.
When Katherine approached, she hesitated for a moment but finally tugged as well.
Daniel, tugged to the point of teary eyes:
"You bunch of perverts!"
He hugged his head and finally dashed into the manor.
Daniel originally intended to scold them harshly, but before he could even get angry, his entire vision was captured by the magnificent splendor of the Vampire Manor.
White walls with golden roofs and glazed tiles, artificial hills, springs, and lotus ponds.
The spacious courtyard was filled with lush and delicate roses, sculptures, and artificial waterfalls. He could even see a white-painted single swing nestled within the rose walls.
Daniel was on the verge of drooling in awe.
Luxurious, too luxurious!
He grabbed onto Chloe's sleeve and solemnly declared:
"My lady, from now on, I shall be your humble servant!"
