The facts proved that their guesses were not wrong.
When the staff brought them to the entrance of the arena, they clearly saw the scantily clad, muscular men on the other side.
Just by their appearance, it was clear they were veterans who had been immersed in the Barren Planet Arena for many years.
Their bodies were covered in countless scars, standing there like troublemaking grizzly bears.
Daniel snorted softly and muttered, "Barbaric natives."
Chloe glanced at him, "Shut up, be careful they notice you."
Daniel fell silent.
Qin Huaibei raised his arms to allow the staff to inspect him. After they left, he asked in a low voice, "If we win this match, can we really save Instructor Ren?"
"Hurst shouldn't have lied to us," Chloe stretched her wrists, "but if he breaks his promise, we'll have to find her ourselves."
And when we do, Xavier can just blast this dump with a cannon.
Chloe thought calmly.
As they spoke, the staff clamped a black mechanical bracelet onto their wrists.
Chloe glanced at it and asked, "What is this?"
The staff member wore a thick black cloak, concealing their face:
"A bracelet that suppresses racial powers. In our arena, we only do hand-to-hand combat. Any form of cheating won't work."
Chloe: "..."
She retorted sharply, "Is it so hard to just say that you people on the Barren Planet are all powerless scum?"
The staff member froze, said nothing, and left.
The arena entrance opened wide.
The stench of blood became even stronger.
Daniel coughed, his eyes filled with disgust:
"After this match, I'll definitely make Hurst pay for this."
As he spoke, they entered the arena.
Standing here, the sounds from above were even louder. They could clearly hear people mocking them.
"Hey! Is the arena broke or what? Hiring a bunch of brats to fill in!"
"The big guys could knock them out with one punch each!"
"Could they even last a minute?"
Not only the spectators outside, but even the shirtless muscular men inside were saying the same.
They didn't rush to attack but instead folded their arms, looking up and down at these few brats:
"Are you even adults? Running here to play?"
Chloe also examined them.
These men were indeed tall and big, their bodies covered in numerous tattoos. From left to right, there were three of them, tattooed with a tiger, a python, and a dragon respectively.
They looked ferocious, but to Chloe, they were nothing but a joke.
Chloe smiled slightly, turning to Anderson and saying:
"Look at their ugly tattoos."
Anderson nodded in agreement.
The spectators outside couldn't hear what they were saying, but the muscular men inside could hear it loud and clear.
The one with the tiger tattoo, his face full of wrinkles, threatened menacingly:
"You kids have some nerve. Let's see if you can still act like that when the real fight starts..."
Before he could finish, Chloe had already kicked up a steel rod from the ground and hurled it forward with all her might!
Her physical abilities were excellent. She threw the rod with utmost force, instantly piercing the man's shoulder.
Blood gushed out.
Chloe looked at them coldly, her lips curled into a smile:
"Only fools would listen to your prattle."
Immediately after, Qin Huaibei and the others leaped into action, pouncing on those muscular men.
The spectators erupted in cheers, not expecting the seemingly frail brats to strike first.
And not only did they attack, but they had actually wounded one of the big guys.
Someone immediately stood up and mocked:
"Look at those useless fools! Getting beaten by a bunch of little kids!"
The crowd roared with laughter.
The injured tiger glared at the spectators, cursing softly, "I'll find out who said that."
As soon as the words left his mouth, a gust of wind rushed by, and his face was brutally kicked.
The tiger turned in disbelief to find it was that brat not even as tall as his waist.
Daniel's expression was fierce, his cheeks speckled with blood, his fangs bared in a taunting grin:
"Stupid oaf, getting distracted in the arena is too foolish, isn't it?"
Enraged by his words, the tiger roared and charged forward:
"You little brat, I'll show you how tough I am today!"
He charged furiously, but just as he approached, his knees were struck with immense force, buckling him.
The tiger finally realized there was someone else behind him.
Qin Huaibei's expression was calm, but his movements were vicious and fluid.
Before the tiger could recover, he and Daniel rushed in simultaneously, steel rods inflicting several more wounds on the tiger's body.
The tiger was completely enraged, bellowing as he traded blows with them.
But the brats were small and agile, their coordination uncannily seamless. From start to now, the tiger hadn't even touched their clothes.
And not only the tiger's side was like this, the python and dragon were facing the same.
Anderson and Katherine held off the dragon, while Chloe took on the python alone.
The python was the slimmest of the three big men.
But he was still a towering mountain compared to Chloe.
Fortunately, Chloe was no pushover either.
Just as she had been tested at five years old, her fangs could easily tear through a wild buffalo.
But Chloe didn't want to bare her fangs at such a crude, ugly man. It would make her feel disgusted.
So she chose the steel rods instead.
The python's entire body was covered in wounds from the rods, his face even scratched open by Chloe's claws, looking terrifyingly monstrous.
His attacks grew faster and heavier.
Compared to the others, the python did seem the most agile, snakelike.
In his increasingly enraged state, Chloe inevitably sustained some wounds as well.
She flipped onto the python's back, one hand gripping his throat tightly, the other viciously driving the steel rod into his body.
The python roared and slammed Chloe to the ground, the steel rod's direction reversed and piercing into her shoulder.
"Chloe!" Daniel's voice rang out from the side.
Chloe remained unfazed, forcefully freeing herself from the python's grip and at the same time kicking hard on the python's wrists with both feet.
With a thunderous crack of breaking bones, the veins bulged on the python's forehead.
Chloe got up from the ground and gave the python another kick to its body, sparing a response: "No worries, mind your own business."
Daniel blocked the tiger's attack, no longer paying attention to Chloe's side, and began to engage the enemy seriously.
The cheers from the audience grew louder and louder.
"They've lasted over a minute!"
"I can't believe those big brutes can't get the better of them!"
"Hey! Beat them to a pulp! Come on! I've disliked those big brutes for a long time!"
The atmosphere was slowly building toward a climax.
Hurst stood above the Barren Planet Arena, holding a glass of wine in his hand.
He lazily observed the scene below: "See that? This is the true revelry of a feast."
Hurst turned his head, a smile playing on his lips as he asked:
"You feel the same way, don't you, my dear Miss Ren?"
